keKit Deprecated [Blender]
Current Version: 1.0.5
- A separate Add-on of features removed from keKit
- Note: Requires that keKit installed - keD will not work separately
- Check Add-on Preferences for available options & shortcuts
- Unlike keKit, shortcuts are pre-defined in the add-on keymap:
- All shortcuts are placeholders & not active by default. Change & activate as needed.
- No prefs backup: If you disable or uninstall keD the prefs/shortcuts are reset.
- Blender version tested as working: 4.2 - Older/Newer versions may, or may not, work.
- Deprecated items will not be supported or updated - Expect no bugfixing future Blender changes etc.
- Any changes to the add-on will not be documented beyond the listing below & the version nr above
Deprecated:
Modes Module
- Former keKit "Modes Module" UI VIDEO DEMO
- Alternative Selection Modes: buttons for hotkeying (VERTEX, EDGE, FACE & OBJECT modes)
- Object Modes or Toggle Pie Menu (blender pie menu)
- Mouse Over Element Mode: Mode switch on object under the mouse pointer by element type
- Space Toggle: Toggle Edit/Object modes on selected object when mouse pointer is over nothing
Edit-Mode Visibility
- Sets ALL modifiers Edit-Mode Visibility to OFF on selected objects (or ON,in redo panel)
Pie Menu: FitPrim+Add
- FitPrim+Add Pie Menu - IMAGE
- Requires keKit & the FitPrim operator
- Note: Does not work well with an expanded Add Menu (Extra Objects enabled etc.)
Pie Menu: OrientPivot v1.4
- The simpler Orientation & Pivot pie menu from (before) keKit v1.4
- Limited to 4 OPC slots.
- Reworked to fit new Orientation panel in 4.0
Pie Menu: keFit2Grid + keFit2Grid Micro
- Is just one combined pie menu in keKit. These are the old separated ones.
Extend Tool Settings
- Extends the Tool Settings menu bar with icons for Correct Face Attributes and Live UV Unwrap, and custom spacing (so you can match your n-panel width)
- Intended for Edit Mesh context, but will work in other modes (using available options)
- Will also display (as shaded/disabled items) in Object Mode: Showing the state of the options
- VIDEO DEMO
